Fidan Novruzova
Fidan Novruzova's eponymous label was founded in 2020, shortly after she graduated from Central Saint Martins with an explosively popular graduate collection. The collection featured handcrafted, eye-catching footwear with a signature style and traditional DNA: chunky, squared-toe, ombré dyed, and a manually creased toebox. But the Moldova-based label is not just known for its shoes, the garments have dramatic, sculptural silhouettes with both a retro-futurist and symbolic approach that combines nostalgia and heritage. Inspired by her actual lived experience, her work is a part of her, rather than just an aesthetic.
